A Balcony on the Lake

This is Balcony on Lake Maggiore, a lovely apartment with incomparable panoramic views of the lake. It is located inside a residence with swimming pool (open from June to September) and large green areas arranged on terraces, where you can enjoy the sun or rest in the shade in complete relax. From the parking lot with reserved parking space, you can access the property, with independent access, descending from characteristic stone stairs between lavender beds and hydrangea plants. The space Guests have access to the entire apartment (60 square meters, independent access), in addition to the common areas of the residential complex: green areas and swimming pool (from June to September). In the parking lot of the complex, accessible from the public road through an automatic gate, guests have at their disposal a parking space. Guest access We normally welcome guests in person. However, there is the possibility of self check in, as we have installed a box with the keys to the gate and the house, whose combination of access will be provided to guests. To access the house you need to get off the parking lot through some flights of stairs and stretches of lawn. For this reason we are unfortunately unable to accommodate people with limited mobility. Other things to note 1) The apartment complex in which the apartment is located includes a communal swimming pool, open from the beginning of June until September. 2) Local regulations require the payment of the tourist tax of € 1 per person per night of stay. Guests who are under 14 years of age do not pay. The host will pay the tax directly to the Municipality of Belgirate, without making any addition to the price. 3) Even for owners of houses rented for tourism, as well as for hotels, the Italian law provides for the obligation to communicate to the competent authority the names of guests (of all ages) and the duration of their stay: for this reason, upon their arrival, we will ask our guests to show us a document (identity card, passport, etc.) to fulfill this obligation.
