A cozy home/apt Reykjavik Central

The space The apartment is centrally located in Reykjavík opposite the art gallery Kjarvalsstadir. Big park is front of the house. Location is close to the downtown but not in the nightlife area. Wild nature Öskjuhlíð and city center within walking distance. The apartment has a large living room, entrance hall, kitchen and bath. Two bedrooms and they are spacious with good closets. There is one King size bed in one room and two single beds in the other. In the bathroom are a shower. From the living room you can go out on the balcony. There is a short walk to Öskjuhlíð, a great recreational area with relics from the second world war. There is Perlan with a good view over the city and other municipalities. Perlan is now converted to Museum of Natural History. A little bit further is University of Reykjavík, Nauthóll restaurant and Nauthólsvík where you can take a bath and find Icelandic beach live. The park in front of the house is child-friendly and there are playgrounds like football, basketball, beach volleyball, playground and barbecue grills. During the winter time it may be possible to see the northern lights and create a snowman. It is a 5 minute walk to Laugavegur which is the main shopping street of Reykjavik. The city centre is in a 10 minute walking distance and there you can find good restaurants and shops. You can take a bus downtown which stops in front of the house. Kringlan the main shopping mall in Reykjavík is in walking distant but you can also take the same bus in the opposite direction. A swimming pool (Sundhöllin) is in 5 minute walking distance. A great location with all that Reykjavik has to offer. Possibilities for walks around the city short or long. Many great restaurants and BSI Terminal for longer trips and sightseeing tours very close by. Public transport station (Hlemmur) is near and there is also food market. Reykjavík (domestic) airport is very near. Guests have access to kitchen utensils, pots, pans and everything that is needed to prepare and serve food. There is a hairdryer in the bath closet. In the living room is a TV. The kitchen has the most common necessities e.g. coffee, tea, salt, pepper,spices, oils, sugar,flour, etc. In the basement is washer, dryer and laundry cables.
