Stoneleigh Miners Cottage

This charming and totally unique 1860's styled solid stone and timber Miners Cottage offers peace and tranquility. Nestled amongst towering gums and abundant native wildlife including our resident Kangaroos and Kookaburras, this property is the perfect destination for a romantic getaway. Located in Gordon in the beautiful Central Highlands, the Cottage is just over an hours drive from the Melbourne CBD and within a 1.4 km slightly elevated walk to dine at the funky Gordons Cafe or the Pub. The space The Cottage has two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and one with two single beds. The bathroom has a double spa bath and a double shower with two shower heads. The Cottage has reverse cycle air-conditioning and a fire box wood heater ready to go and complete with a supply of firewood. We do not have a conventional oven, but we have the following cooking facilities; * Convection Microwave Oven with Grill * Portable electric hot plate * Electric frypan * Electric skillet * Saucepans * BBQ We have a small laundry, but no washing machine. We do not provide wi-fi. Guest access Guests have full access to the Cottage and the surrounds. Other things to note Generous breakfast provisions are provided for the first morning. To access the second bedroom, please book for 3 people (for 1 single bed) or 4 people (for 2 single beds). The rate per night is $190 plus an extra $50 per person plus a $75 cleaning fee . A two night stay for 4 people would cost $655 plus the AirBnB service fee. No Smoking No Pets No Parties
