Wandandian rural tranquility

Fully self contained and stand alone building, halfway between Nowra and Ulladulla. Only 3 minutes from the highway but far enough away to escape all the noise. If you enjoy rural tranquility and a chance to listen to the birds this is the place for you. If you want to be 5 mins away from shops and restaurants - this place is not for you! (it will take you about 20- 30 minutes to get to those)! There is excellent privacy with separate driveway access from the main house. The space A fully self-contained and stand alone cottage with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Your vehicle will be under cover in your own car port. There is free wifi access available at the cottage. If staying for 3 days or less we will provide you with breakfast supplies. For longer stays there is a price discount so we will get you started but expect that you will top up with your own supplies. A fully equipped kitchen is complete with full size fridge, pod coffee machine, toaster, kettle, microwave oven and an oven with gas cooktop. Other amenities include a small separate laundry area with a washing machine and clothes dryer, iron and ironing board. An external deck will allow you to sit outside but under cover and enjoy the countryside. A wood fire will keep you toasty warm on cold winter nights, or if you prefer you can quickly switch on the reverse cycle air conditioner. There's books and DVDs, CDs and a stereo system that you can pair with your phone if you'd like to listen to your own music. If you are up early in the morning you can say hi to the resident mob of kangaroos as they do their early morning grazing, or you might see the shy wallabies in the next door neighbour's pony yard. CHILDREN: Children are welcome but please note there is only one bedroom area with a queen size bed. There is room for a portable cot or fold out mattress in the living area however we do not supply this bedding. There are steps off the back deck and at the front entrance to the cottage. There is a dam on the property, so if wandering around, a child would need to be supervised. Our dog (Soxy, a chocolate Labrador) is friendly and playful but she is fast and will run after a running child thinking that is a great game!! Guest access You will have access to our 5 acre property as long as you don't mind encountering the free ranging chickens and exuberant Labrador (Soxy). Access to the cottage is via your own driveway. The cottage can be hard to locate in the dark so please make sure you check the instructions we give for check-in. Other things to note We are on a 5 acre property. There are 7 other 5 acre properties around us. The great majority of the time it is lovely and peaceful. There will however be times when there is the usual noise of rural living. EV charging is available (Level 1 and Level 2). This will incur an additional nominal fee. If you need to charge your vehicle, feel free to contact us to discuss. Please note that there is a dog that lives on this property. She is very friendly and loves to greet our guests. If you are highly anxious around dogs, then perhaps this is not the best property for you to visit. There is a second AirBnB Guest Shed adjacent, which may be available for larger family gatherings.
