RELAX in this Modern Self-contained Suite with free Wifi, Weber bbq, a pool view & located close to all the Coast's major attractions. A home away from home, a place to REST in a comfortable queen bed after daily excursions, to REPLENISH from your food or popular restaurants, and to REFRESH in the pool. An allergy friendly space with tiled floors, & crimsafe screens letting in the hinterland breeze. The space Lovely old gum trees and pool backdrop is the view from the dining area and queen bedroom, that adds to the Serenity and Seclusion, of this Self-contained Suite. The established trees bring a variety of birdlife such as Kookaburras at dawn and fruit bats at dusk. You know you have truly arrived in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland in Gubbi Gubbi Country. The perfect cozy poolside rental retreat for couples, singles and families alike wanting a short break. This house for rent near the beach has a separate private entrance that gives access to the entire place on the ground-floor of a two story home. Cook breakfast in the kitchen whilst protected from the sun with the outdoor block out blind that can be adjusted. Then enjoy breakfast in your own private deck/courtyard with chairs and coffee table or enjoy a coffee in our gorgeous little village Palmwoods many cafes such as Homegrown or in Woombye such as Frankies. Filtered water saves you time and money by not having to purchase bottled water. Starter pack of tea, coffee, milk, sugar, etc will assist until more essentials are required from the local Spar in Palmwoods. Cooking is a breeze with a convection oven (like an air fryer) for roasted veg and/ or meats George Foreman for grilled foods. Stove and mini oven for pizza and pastas. If wanting to dine out we have access to the coast's finest dining such as Ricks Garage, Piggyback, Palmwood's Hotel, as well as National Parks and beaches with only a short drive. Reconnect with family by playing in the pool, and over the board games we supply. Use the free wi-fi to chill over your IPad or read many of our free and recent magazines on health, surfing, aircraft etc. Read a book whilst having your daily coffee fix from our Nespresso machine. Make use of the yoga mat supplied to stretch inside or ground yourself by the Amazing Pool. Sit by the pool, rinse off using the outdoor shower or sit in a chair on the deck by day and gaze out to the amazing views of the treetops or at night and stargaze under the festoon lights. Access to toys, pool noodle's and water toys will keep the kids delighted. Ideal for long stays due to well-equipped open plan kitchen with large fridge, storage space, laundry with washing machine, dryer, aircon, fan, two single beds, futon, private room consisting of a queen bed, table and four chairs, desk and chair to do work on, Wi-Fi, on-street parking, and own outdoor clothesline. Dates can be unblocked, just let us know how we can help with any requests. Guest access Palmwoods village and the train station is only a 5-minute walk away if you wish to leave your car parked at the on-street parking. There is also a bus stop at end of our road. Otherwise jump in your car and it's 30 seconds drive to Palmwoods, or 3 minutes to Woombye. Fancy heading to the countryside? Then drive 10 minutes to quaint and touristy hinterland village of Montville. Head to the country town of Maleny (30 mins) with its Cheese Factory and dairy farms, Mapleton (30 mins) or to Eumundi famous markets on Weds and Saturdays. Want to go surfing then drive only 17 minutes to our famous surf beaches such as Alexandra Hedland, Mooloolaba, and Mudjimba, where you can also sit on the beachfront and have a coffee or have a picnic overlooking the surf. 20 minutes to the Sunshine Coast Airport, and Sunshine Plaza Shopping Mall in Maroochydore for a spot of shopping. The Palms is the perfect getaway! Other things to note Our philosophy… The Palms grew out of a comfortable place where our international friends and family stayed whilst on holiday. With 2019 halting travel we opened it up to local visitors who wanted a home away from home but still enjoy a level of customer service and cleanliness from any fine establishment. The Palms experience… From the beginning, The Palms has never been about the space but our intention that this space offers a warm heartfelt welcome to families so you can relax, and connect, rather than party. We ask our guests to treat the space here with the same kindness it offers you.
