CARRICKALINGA: A spacious, dog friendly retreat

Come and relax at 'Taronga' - a five minute walk to Carrickalinga’s pristine beach - one of SA’s most beautiful stretches of coast. Our home is large and well-appointed - it offers space, privacy and all creature comforts. There's a slow combustion fire for the cooler months (we provide wood ), a fully equipped kitchen, multiple lounge areas, outdoor eating/deck with Webber BBQ, a dedicated TV room, 2 bathrooms, and a laundry. You'll also find free WIFI, board games, books and table tennis! The space Our home accommodates a maximum of 6 guests (including children). When requesting to book, please introduce yourself and tell us who is coming. We supply quilts and covers, pillows and pillowcases, hand towels, bath mats, and tea towels, BUT REQUIRE YOU TO BRING YOUR OWN SHEETS AND TOWELS. This enables us to keep the overall costs down a little. Full bedding and towels can be arranged for a hire fee of $25pp. Please give plenty of notice if you wish to pursue this option We also supply pantry staples, shampoo, soap, and toilet paper. Kindling and firewood are supplied in Winter. Please be clear about guest numbers as you'll have access to the corresponding number of rooms. We allow well-behaved, thoroughly house-trained dogs by negotiation. The backyard is fenced. We love allowing guests to bring their pets but ask you to assure us that your dog is not a digger or a chewer, that it will not be left unsupervised, and that you will be responsible for cleaning up after your dog both inside and out. If you're seeking something more than the average 'shack' - our home may be just what you’re looking for. It's the perfect place to relax after a day exploring all that this spectacular region offers. Other things to note We do not have a fire guard around the slow combustion fire and ask that you consider this if booking with children. If you think this could pose a safety issue we ask that you look elsewhere - in booking this property you agree to take full responsibility for the safety of your children. We only open up the calendar 3 or 4 months in advance - so if you're looking for future dates that appear to be booked, it may be that the calendar is not open -so come back and try again at a later date!
