Modern, cosy cottage with surronding wrap around decks that enable you to sit in comfort, and enjoy the harbour and rural views, no matter what they weather is. Lie in the Super King Bed, ( or 2 singles if preferred) enjoying peace and quiet with the ranch slider open, listening to sounds of nature, feeling safe and secure planning your day. Relax The space The unique views of water, farmlands and natural areas as the cottage is placed high above surrounding areas. The location is accessed on the main highway, SH1. Approximately 50 km from Kaitaia, 60 kms to Cape Reinga, northern most tourist spot in NZ. We are surrounded by magnificent beaches, 5 mins to both east and west coasts, 90 Mile Beach, Rarawa Beach, Henderson Bay, renown for swimming, surfing, fishing and relaxing. The Cottage is well equipped and maintained, clean and tidy, with own kitchen, lounge, bathroom, laundry and new super king bed in the lovely bedroom. If the extra bed ( bed settee is required there is an extra charge) The cottage is set up for disabled with ramp, extensive decks, and open wheel chair showering area. On the property, guests can take walks, feed animals and poultry and take in the clear fresh air. Excellent Mobile phone coverage, Uninterupted wifi, and freeview television, easy access to library of books, dvd's, magazines and games. A cleaning bench, suitable for cleaning fish, is handy and BBQ and smoker are also on site. Guests are free to be by themselves but if wish our company we will enjoy interacting with them and perhaps sharing refreshments or a meal. It is entirely their choice and we always respect their privacy. Love the openness, tranquillity, and exceptional views of the surrounding area. Two minutes drive from amenities such as grocery store, café and other shops. Safe ample parking on site, drive direct off main highway. No public transport is available north of Kaitaia, but this varies depending on availability and demand. People arrive as strangers but leave as friends. Guest access Guests are free to wander over the 13 acres of farmlet, walking the paddocks, feeding the ducks, viewing animals and other farm life.
