Room with a view

This cosy little room for one person has a fabulous view of the city and catches the early morning sunshine. Close to the city centre, public transport, nice walks in the countryside and by the river around Bath. The neighbourhood is quiet and safe with a good sense of community. It is about 40 minutes walk (depending on how fast you walk!), or a short bus ride into the centre of Bath. Also a variety of food shops 5 minutes walk away. Great if you’re looking for a comfy stay and quiet location. The space The house is also occupied by one other person, my partner, as well as me and my two cats . I provide tea and coffee for use in your room, but you will need to buy any breakfast items you would like. Bed linen is clean and washed for every guest and dried on the line if the weather permits. However, I do feel life is too short to iron sheets! So if creases bother you, please be assured the sheets are very clean. In Twerton High St, 5 minutes walk away, there is a convenience store (open until 10pm) which has a cash machine inside. Guest access The bathroom, with bath and shower is shared with myself and my partner. The kitchen is my private area. You can eat takeaway or picnic food in the room on a small table. There is a kettle in the room for hot drinks. During your stay I have lived in Bath for most of my life and know the area well, so can advise on places to see and trips out. I will be around for most of the time for help and advice. I can be contacted any time by Airbnb messages. Other things to note Although my check-in window states 5pm - 8pm I really appreciate it if guests can let me know a little more exactly when they will be arriving and keep me updated if they are delayed. Early check-ins are rarely possible. It really helps me to plan my other activities around my Airbnb hosting to know when you are arriving! If you arrive early and need to store your luggage in town there are a couple of inexpensive places near the station. Ask me for more details.
