Cactus- Spectacular Views On The Ocean Front

Cactus has just had a very big renovation and facelift. It is a very modern and bright space finished to exacting standards. Cactus has some of the best views of Emu Bay. Hidden away from the road, the living area and deck are wonderfully open plan, and perfect for seamless entertaining. The master suite is also on the front, with ensuite. Two further bedrooms accommodate up to 6 guests, with another living area, and additional shower room and laundry. The beach is just a few minutes walk. The space Cactus is looking wonderful after its big renovation. Almost everything is new- new floors, windows, kitchen, and bathrooms. We are thrilled about the new look and can’t wait to share it with you. Everything has been finished to very high standards, and is now one of the nicest houses to rent on the front at spectacular Emu Bay. Arguably the most private of all rentals on the front row. Most important is the view. The house maximises the uninterrupted view from the huge deck, open plan living room and master bedroom. The new kitchen has been designed for people who love to cook. Miele oven, Miele induction cooktop, Miele dishwasher and integrated Bosch fridges. Everything you need is there for high level entertaining and cooking. You will also find very high quality linen and towels. The front garden has been planted to be high enough to block the view of the road and provide maximum privacy. There are a few colonies of fairy penguins under the deck, and in the hedge- they do make a little noise at night. It is also common to see koalas in the trees at the back of the property too. Guest access Guests will have access to all of property except the shed at the back. Other things to note Emu Bay is a beautiful spot but does not have any shops, everything you need in in the main town Kingscote, 15 mins drive away. We have a small colony of fairy penguins that live under the deck, they like to make a little noise at night. You may also see a koala in the gum trees behind the house. Kangaroo Island is very much part of Australia, and bugs, spiders, mosquitoes and flies are very common. Please do try to keep the screen doors closed to protect yourselves! The flys like to congregate behind the shutters if they are allowed in. Emu Bay unfortunately has no mains supply of water, everything comes from the two tanks at the back. Please be very careful with water usage, it is a limited supply.
