Welcome to my quaint & quiet townhouse positioned between the mountain & the sea. A 2-minute walk to the beach while also being close to an array of shops, restaurants, internet cafes, town & public transport. Explore the beaches, nearby hiking trails or visit the nearby gym. Enjoy the fresh sea air walking along the popular Sea Point Promenade or take a 20-minute walk to the vibrant VNA Waterfront. Whether you are holidaying or working remotely there's lots to enjoy. Uninterrupted WIFI. The space The house is an old one built in the 1950’s so it has that old charm about it. The guest room is quiet and spacious with an extra-length, queen size bed. There is a large desk with a lamp and a comfortable chair set up as a workstation. The room has high ceilings and wooden floors with plenty of natural light. There is a hanging rack for your clothes and a chest of drawers. You have direct access to the patio and back garden with a table and chairs for meals, reading, outdoor yoga, sunbathing or watching Nina climb the surrounding trees. The guest room is situated next to the shared bathroom. Fan and heater provided and a mosquito plug. Uninterrupted WIFI during load-shedding. The other shared spaces of the house beside the bathroom is the kitchen and laundry. Please ask for linen when you need it. Long term guests staying 2 weeks or more are asked to wash their own linen. Guest access Guests have access to the following spaces in the house. You can see these spaces on the listing photos. Laundry facilities. ( Long term Guest are asked to use their own laundry detergent.) There is a clothes line in the back yard for drying clothes and a portable drying rack . Shared Bathroom. Fully equipped open plan kitchen with Nespresso machine for coffee lovers. Direct access to the patio with table and chairs and the small secluded garden. If you rent a car there is plenty of free parking on the street. During your stay I respect the privacy and need for personal space of my guests while being open to friendly conversation when I'm available. Exchanging cell phone numbers to keep connected and necessary communication open. Other things to note I have sweet and shy cat ( Nina). It’s important that you like cats as this is her home. She will seek you out in her own time. Guests are asked to help keep the shared spaces of the bathroom and kitchen clean. Materials for cleaning the bathtub, sink and toilet are kept in the cupboard.
