Located in the Resort & stretching out over the water with mountain views, this centrally located, 2 bedroom/2 bathroom apartment is suitable for that cheeky, romantic weekend away or fun-filled family holiday. All complimentary resort facilities such as a gym, indoor pool, sauna, golf course, tennis court, water sports, archery range, ropes course, multi-skill MTB & walking tracks are available, offering hours of fun, whilst restaurants & cafes, in close walking distance, fuel the body & soul. The space Bandria (meaning "waterhole" in the local, indigenous language) is a relaxed and cozy, self-contained apartment, with modern & vintage "one off" pieces reflecting the surrounds of the Australian bush and ski slopes. Located approx. 50 mtrs from Cuisine Restaurant & Bar and 100 - 150 mtrs from the water sports area, Wally's Playground, archery range, trampolines, Perrotta's Italian & Bar (formerly Alpine Larder) and Harro's Snow Sports, this apartment is centrally located within the Resort. As well as access to all the complimentary Resort activities and facilities, our guests are welcome to use the free shuttle bus which can take guests to/from the Perisher Ski Tube in winter. In summer, for a small fee paid at Harros in the Resort, guests (and their favourite 2 wheels) can taken to/from Thredbo. Modern conveniences such as underfloor heating in the kitchen & bathrooms, free WIFI, Chromecast, Nest system (microphone can be easily disabled), numerous USBC & USBA ports, multimedia streaming projector, digital radio/CD player with Bluetooth connectivity & a full kitchen including dishwasher, SMEG small appliances & Delonghi coffee machine (with locally roasted & ground coffee included) and a choice of stainless or nonstick cookware, make this the perfect family friendly apartment, a quiet retreat without the need to go out, or a place to work away from the office (if you really have to). A wood combustion fireplace, located in the open plan dining/lounge room, provides warmth and ambience whilst you enjoy a meal around the 6 seater dining table, romantic fireside drinks & cheese platter or simply watch movies on the large, wall mounted smart TV & Blu-ray player. If needed, a pedestal fan is also available for those warmer months. The undercover deck, equipped with an overhead outdoor heater and modern Kitchenaid BBQ, is the perfect place for morning coffees or family meals with uninterrupted views over the lake. In the master bedroom with TV and ensuite bathroom, the king sized bed (which can also be separated into 2 single sized beds) is made up in hotel grade, luxury cotton bedsheets. Generous floor to ceiling wardrobes (with hangers) and chest of drawers provide ample storage for a short or long stay. The ensuite consists of a shower, toilet, basin and reasonable vanity space to put personal items such as makeup or toiletry bags. A hairdryer and anti-slip mat is under the sink for your convenience. The second bedroom, consisting of a king sized bed with luxury bedsheets (which can be separated into 2 single sized beds), has a floor to ceiling wardrobe with drawers inside and a large rocking chair perfect for bedtime stories or nursing. Also in this room is our newly upgraded projector system - perfect for film nights or other streaming - all designed to keep children and/or teens entertained, allowing adults to unwind out in the main living area or on the balcony. The main bathroom consists of a toilet, basin, dual-head shower over the bath and reasonable vanity space for personal items. An anti-slip mat and grab bar are available for those wanting security, or needing assistance, getting in and out of the bath/shower. Thick, quality toweling is provided in both bathrooms in various different sizes, as well as the most beautiful, Australian made, organic products by IKOU for you to use during your stay, including shampoo, conditioner, body wash, body lotion and natural bath salts. We love these! A laundry with washing machine and dryer are located inside the apartment, with the ability to convert the laundry to a drying room in the cooler months, with just the flick of a switch. A reserved undercover parking spot (2.4metres height clearance) is located directly opposite the front door with flat, level access to the apartment (no stairs) - perfect in wet or icy conditions. Wall mounted bike, ski and board racks are located undercover, next to the front door. It is recommended you bring lockable bike chains and/or padlocks. We are committed to you having a COVID safe stay. We require a longer cleaning and accommodation turn around time so we will need to confirm your check in/out time - if you would like to make a particular time request, please contact us. * Please note: In our reviews there may be mention of our very popular breakfast produce box. Unfortunately due to sourcing difficulties in a regional area (as well as logistics challenges outside our control) we are no longer able to source the quality, fresh products with any kind of consistency. We hate to let our valued guests down and therefore, reluctantly, have made the decision to cease the regular offer. If you would like us to source something similar for you (for an additional cost), please contact us to discuss. Guest access Guests have access to the entire apartment. The apartment is at ground level with no steps or stairs when accessing or moving around the apartment. Level 50m walk from the front door to the restaurant and bar. Other things to note As parents to 2 little ones, we know how much ‘stuff’ you need to take with you when you travel as a family. At Bandria we have attempted to ‘lighten the load’ by including some family friendly conveniences such as children's plastic bowls, plates, cups and cutlery, a portable cot, high chair and a child safety gate for the balcony door so you can enjoy the lake breezes more safely. We also have children’s books, puzzles and games such as skittles and dominoes available for the younger ones and a projector system in the second bedroom for all ages - perfect for a family movie night or to keep the children and teens entertained, allowing the adults to unwind.
