Check In by 8pm The space This lovely country homestead is set up entirely for guests use and is a peaceful retreat in the countryside for families looking for a place to stay. The homestead has a comfortable open plan living, dining and kitchen area as well as four bedrooms. The homestead sleeps a maximum of 7 guests. 3 Queen Beds 1 King Single Bed Large wood fire (Coonara) a substantial amount of wood provided in winter months) Large screen TV Free Wifi and internet DVD Player and an assortment of DVD’s for guests to enjoy. Evaporative cooling Large Bbq Outdoor seating tressal table and seats For those that enjoy cooking the modern kitchen is fully equipped with a gas cook top, large electric oven, toaster, kettle, coffee machine and walk in pantry Coffee, tea & breakfast cereals are provided as well as a well stocked pantry for guests to use. Lovely farm fresh eggs (availability dependent) are also provided for our guests Bread and seasonal fruit are also supplied. The homestead also has evaporation cooling throughout to keep you lovely and cool on those warm summer days. please note there is a gas wall furnace situated in the main living area for emergency use only. Rob will switch it on when the need arises The master bedroom has a comfortable queen size bed with private en-suite, bedroom TV, walk in wardrobe and direct access to the verandah. At the other end of the house there is three bedrooms. Two of these bedrooms have comfortable queen size beds and the third bedroom has a king single bed. All have access to the main bathroom which includes a toilet, basin, shower and large bath tub The laundry has a washing machine, iron and ironing board also available for guests to use Washing machine liquid and fabric softener is provided All bedding and towels are provided Hand wash is also supplied Mobile phone reception is best with Telstra *** The owner, Rob, lives on site when not away working in a separate building. Rob is friendly and easy going and happy to help if you have any queries. Our guests privacy is very important to us and we hope that your stay is comfortable and enjoyable. Elenerie is a great place for: Families or couples, wanting to visit the King Valley or Milawa food and wine regions, Race teams participating at Winton motor Raceway. Short stop over when traveling between Melbourne and Sydney or Canberra. For the race car enthusiasts we are 10 mins drive from Winton motor Raceway and 15 minutes to the nearest town, Benalla. We have plenty of secure parking space for cars and trailers. LOCATION- IMPORTANT INFO Please read our house rules and check our ‘location’ prior to booking to make sure we are in the right location for you We are a farm and therefore not located in town. Please list the correct number of guests on your reservation. We are 15 minutes from the nearest town, Benalla, which has a couple of supermarkets, bakeries, pubs, restaurants and take away venues. We cannot accept dogs inside the house or on the property, this includes service and support dogs (bio-security best practice) we have two much loved dogs, Harvey & Pepper, that live on site. If you have any queries please just ask we are happy to help. Guest access Guests can access most areas of the farm except the dams, sheds some paddocks and the owners cottage. Please respect our animals and shut gates behind you Other things to note Elenerie is a working farm therefore at times the owner will be about attending to jobs on the farm. The farm is also home to alpacas and geese and two friendly dogs. On a farm it is also very important to please leave all gates shut or closed or as your find them (old farmers rule) Strictly No Parties/ Gatherings extra non approved guests or Events.
