This three bedroom, 2 bathroom chalet in Ohakune is ideally located near the iconic carrot park. It is very close to all the amenities, 5 minutes from the local supermarket, pubs and cafes, and the beginning of the mountain road to Turoa. The drive to the base car park at Turoa takes approximately 25 minutes. The house is setup with 2 queen rooms and a shared room with 3 single beds. There is a great fireplace with plenty of wood but also has a heat pump, gas hot water, wifi and Netflix! The space 3 Bedrooms configured as follows: Queen Room downstairs attached to the ground floor bathroom Queen Room upstairs with additional single bed Single Room upstairs with three single beds You will walk into the house on the lower floor and find a queen bedroom that joins onto the lower bathroom with a shower over bath and toilet. The hot water is provided by an infinity gas for those longer showers. The kitchen, dining area, and living room are located on the ground floor with a cosy fireplace ( main source of heating) to keep you warm in the winter months. There is also a heat pump in the dining room as well if you want easy heat. The TV has Netflix as well as normal TV. Upstairs via the lounge you will enter the small common area with a small tv and xbox for the kids to relax. Also upstairs are 2 bedrooms, 1 with a queen bed and 1 single in it. The other has 3 single beds. You will also find the second toilet and shower as well. The drying room is setup with a dehumidifier, and racks for snow equipment and clothing. There is no clothes dryer in this chalet and clothes need to be hung out in the drying room. There is ample parking for 2-3 cars, 1 would be covered under the carport. Other things to note Please note the Fireplace is the best and main source of heating.
