Alpine Cottage

Our beautiful cottages are situated in the rolling hills of Wales. On a 18th century smallholding, sitting in its own private valley, with 24 acres of forest - ancient trees, little streams, natural gardens and adjoining 2000 acres of heather-clad moorland. A peaceful, and quiet location with sounds of bird songs and nature. Great for nature lovers and romantic getaways or family holidays. The space Our Alpine holiday cottage is a stunning ’chalet barn’ in Wales which is decorated in a homely and quirky fashion. The main bedroom sits on a mezzanine overlooking the barn with a super king size bed. The sitting room has comfortable sofas, a cosy wood-burner and small dining area. There is also a second bedroom which can sleep 2 in a king or single bed format. Both rooms have luxury bedding and towels all provided. The generous country kitchen has an electric oven and breakfast table giving the whole cottage a homely feel with all your cooking utensils provided including a dish washer. The cottage is set In a private valley surrounded by 4 acres of wild garden, the perfect place to come and unwind, relax and re-connect. Dogs are always welcome at £10 per dog per stay. We have a selection of dvds, books for all ages and games in the information room for all guests to use. Guest access Please note. Wifi is not available in the cottages but in a dedicated on-site free wifi cafe. There is also no mobile reception here so there is an on-site pay phone available 24/7. There is also 24 acres of woodland you are free to explore and plenty of maps with OS maps in the intervenes cafe you are free to use.
