Description
Our comfortable and romantically lit apartment in the city centre (58 square meters) is suitable for, AND WILL ONLY BE RENTED TO, small families (two adults and a child, and a baby). There is a large double bed and, in the second room, a double sofa bed. The apartment is on the top (4th) floor and can be reached by elevator. Prize is all-inclusive. Free wifi. The space Beautiful, sunny and quiet apartment at a unique location in the centre. You can hear the animals in the zoo. There is a small balcony at the back. Guest access A well functioning elevator makes the apartment easy accessible to physically challenged visitors. We have one bicycle for the guests, so you will only have to rent one more, if necessary. HOW TO GET THERE BY TRAIN AND STREETCAR The fastest and cheapest way to get to the apartment from the airport is taking the train to Amsterdam Central Station (17 minutes). The platforms are below the arrival halls in the airport. At Central Station you take streetcar 9, to Alexanderplein, around the corner from the apartment. That takes another fifteen minutes. NEAR THE APARTMENT Three different trams stop right around the corner, to the train station and other parts of the city. Get of the train at the stop ‘AlexanderPLEIN’. AlexanderSTRAAT is a small street near that Alexanderplein (and don’t confuse it with the nearby AlexanderKADE). Our apartment, at Alexanderstraat 29, is in the relative new building block in the middle of the small street (the numbering is confusing). TICKETS AND PASSES For the train you have to buy a single-use chipcard from the yellow ticket machines with the blue overhead sign reading ‘traintickets’, near the platforms at Schiphol Plaza. Tickets are also available from the Ticket- and Service desks, which are situated close to the red/white-checked cube at Schiphol Plaza.
