About 6 kms from the Kabini Kakanakote Govt jungle safari point makes it an ideal place to stay that is cost effective too. The space Just 10 minutes from the Kakanakote wildlife safari ticket counter, facing the Kabini back waters makes the view serene and peaceful. Booking options would be just the rooms with attached toilets on the first floor or the house on the ground floor with the kitchen so guests can cook vegetarian only or can procure food from the caretaker who cooks tasty local cuisine, chargeable. Excess food could be fed to the dogs which are very friendly. Guest access You could access all parts of the farmland with the guest assistant. Based on your bookings limit your movement to your area in case guests are there in other booked areas. Please ensure to leave things back in the same place. Please report on any breakage. Ask for the route to approach the backwater and drive down to spend a few hours there it’s amazing, especially the sunset point, which is the end point of this peninsula. Other things to note It’s a farmhouse which our guests call it as a home away from home. There is solar UPS for lightings & fans, rural power supply is not so good. Please carry your own toiletries and bath towels. Cooking non-veg is strictly prohibited. This farmhouse is the perfect place for wonderful family time. *Consider it to be a home away from home.* *It’s a self help property, thus would not have any kind of room services, the guests are expected to keep back the house or the occupied rooms in the same order and we have a “leave no foot prints” policy.* Swetha is our cook who prepares simple local south veg food only in the ground floor house on pre request at a nominal cost, Lunch or Dinner Rs.150 and Breakfast Rs.100, tea/coffee, snacks or salad charged accordingly. Somesh is our guests assistant and would be the one point of contact, he is available at the farm only during the day. They mainly speak Kannada and make honest efforts to communicate. Request you to have patience and be polite. Tipping them would be generous and appreciated.
