Villa Depok Indah - Jambu Street, Depok Lama

Villa Depok Indah is a luxerious, serene villa based in the "heart of Depok". Surrounded by beautiful flora and original landhouses, the area still breaths the atmosphere of a time when Dutch landlords found their rest during the colony years and the VOC (Verenigd Oostindische Compagnie, translated: United East Indian Company), had reached its peak. Whatever the purpose of your visit will be, the villa ensures that you will have a great and enjoyable time. The space History: The street where the villa is situated, Jalan Jambu (Rose Apple Street), is still inhabited by one of the twelve family names who have inherited Depok's land in the 17th century for their loyalty towards their landlord Cornelis Chastelein. Whether you are visiting Depok for a couple of days on your journey across Indonesia or have an (in)direct relationship with Depok and want to stay for a longer period of time during your holiday, my hospitable relatives are always happy to have a talk and if interested share some background information of Depok and our family name: "Isakh" (one of the twelve remaining family names of Depok). Guest access Amenities: The villa provides - 1 Bedroom with airconditioning and two single beds which could be combined to one kingsize bed or could be extended with one extra bed - 1 Bedroom with airconditioning and a kingsize bed which could be extended with one extra bed - 2 Bathrooms with fresh towels and rain shower from the ceiling (warm and cold water) - Living room with airconditioning and a Smart Ultra HD TV, audio bar (WiFi connected) and a Playstation 4 game console - Kitchen with refrigerator (including freezer compartment), combi oven/microwave, cooking stove and a bar - Kitchenware: pots & pans, rice cooker, cutlery, plates, glasses, etc. - NO Indoor smoking policy - Free WiFi connection - Free parking space for 3 cars - Garden which could be used for different purposes, e.g. sun bathing, inflatable swimming pool, yoga & mindfulness exercises, pick-nick, small outdoor gathering / party etc. - Front, side and back terrace - Fresh herbal and fruit garden which could be used for a cooking course - Outdoor kitchen for party cooking - Stone barbecue grill - Firepit (e.g. to toast marshmallows) Other things to note As we try to live as “green” as possible, we would appreciate our guests not to waste any electricity (e.g. air conditioning), water and clean towels (if not really necessary).
