Concongella Cabin a place to chillout

Our very unique and slightly quirky accommodation is based in a beautiful private country setting in Great Western, a short 45- minute drive from the foothills of the Grampians. Originally a shipping container, it has been repurposed with a range of up-cycled and preloved items curated with care. It is set in a quiet little pocket surrounded by native bushland with an abundance of native fauna. The space Concongella Cabin is situated on a small regional property in the heart of the picturesque wine village of Great Western. Our cabin provides couples with a secluded country retreat vibe with an opportunity to put your feet up by the outdoor fire and enjoy the tranquility and the quiet. With an abundance of birdlife who call our native grass and trees their home partnered with some four-legged farm favorites (a few pet sheep & alpacas) you will enjoy this truly county experience. Guest access Our guests have full access to the property and surrounding bush land. We just ask our guests not to enter the paddocks where our farm animals range freely. They all have very inquisitive natures so they will make their way over to say G’day. Other things to note We would like our guests to be aware that our Cabin is fitted with an eco-friendly cassette toilet found in all self-contained caravans and motorhomes. We chose to install a cassette toilet to help prevent the impact on our native fauna and flora. The toilet is very easy to use, odour free and operates similar to a conventional toilet but with less water usage, Full instructions are in the bathroom for our guests to read or we are happy to go through the instructions with you. Our outdoor fire is very unique too! You may request a fire for $25 which includes wood, firefighters, and paper. We are also happy to pre-set it for your arrival so all your need to do is light it and enjoy the ambience. We do not allow dogs to stay on the property due to our livestock and our very protective Alpacas.
