This apartment with its own private entrance sits below our brick Cape Cod-style home. The unit is totally refurbished with luxury amenities. It's a cozy bohemian cottage vibe with a touch of Miyazaki anime magic. Open floorplan includes a fully stocked kitchen with dishwasher (and new Nespresso!) plus a separate sleeping room with comfy king-sized bed and a private bathroom with a large walk-in shower. Off-street parking, fast internet, & sofa bed for extra guests. No smoking inside, please. The space We have recently renovated the entire apartment, with new carpet throughout and a newly expanded kitchen. The stove is new and the kitchen includes everything you need for any length of stay, including an electric stove and dishwasher. For caffeine we have multiple options, including a drip coffee machine, a Nespresso, and a programmable electric tea kettle. It's a garden-level basement apartment, but there are windows in every room, which gives the space plenty of light. Guest access Guests have a dedicated off-street parking space. The private entrance is around the back of the house and down the stairs. Guests access the apartment through a laundry room, which is the only shared space. The rest of the apartment is completely private with its own locking door. Other things to note We are in DC's Maryland suburbs, about a 20-minute drive to DC—though it can be longer depending on traffic. We recommend taking metro to DC from College Park station nearby (8 minute drive; 25 minute walk).
