The space The Apartment is conveniently located in St Ives to benefit within level walking distance of the harbour and many the beaches of St Ives. Guests can forget their car and take surf boards and beach gear directly to the beach and even return for lunch at The Apartment. Similarly, there are many restaurants and pubs in the immediate vicinity of The Apartment if guests wish to dine out in the evening or even take an early or late morning breakfast locally. Guest access The Apartment is centrally located in St Ives with its unique natural attractions and its wealth of high-class shops, restaurants and galleries including the Tate St Ives, the Barbara Hepworth and Sculpture Museum and The Leach Pottery. In recent years many well-known national and international stores have opened branches in the town such as Oska Trade Limited, Wetherspoons, Pizza Express, Fatface, Sea Salt, Mountain Warehouse, Pasty Presto, Musto, Superdry, etc which makes St Ives an excellent centre for shopping and dining. St Ives Cinema is within 50 metres of The Apartment and St Ives Leisure Centre with indoor swimming pool, available to the public, is not far from the centre of the town. For guests wishing to use laundry facilities, there is a launderette within 100 metres of The Apartment. Other things to note St Ives is world famous for its picturesque fishing harbour, surfing, sandy beaches and history as an art colony where famous artists such as Barbara Hepworth, Ben Nicolson, Naum Gabo and Bernard Leach resided with much of their work now displayed in The Tate St Ives.
