Nature and healing hospitality "Sato House Tsutsuji Garden"
Description
For private lodging, you will be staying in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Sato. Born and raised in Oshio, Sato-san has been protecting this house since his great-grandfather's time. The cedar-skinned roof is an impressive renovation using materials from an old mansion that is over 100 years old. I make sure that the room I usually stay in is the same as the room I usually use. A stance that is merely an extension of everyday life. Sato-san's collection is arranged in a narrow space in the reception room, and the study room is also equipped with computers and projectors. You can also enjoy a barbecue on the upstairs terrace. Knives, cutting boards, microwaves, pots, and all the cooking utensils and appliances you need. All you need to do is bring your favorite ingredients. The rooftop that leads from the terrace is Sato-san's favorite spot. The landscape changes in colour and expression depending on the season and time of day, and you can always look at the landscape without forgetting the time. In particular, from early summer to autumn, it is best to lie down in a hammock or goza and watch the sunset and the starry sky. When you visit the Sato family like this, the first thing you want to see is a roving open garden on a small hill in front of your home. I spent 28 years creating tricks while remembering my childhood playing in the box garden. The 2000 tsubo garden is centered on azaleas (8,000) and shakunaga (100), and is planted with a variety of flowers and trees, including cherry blossoms, Japanese tea flowers, and vines. The carp swims cheerfully in the pond. Further behind the garden is a mountain trail with a forest therapy course. The forest therapy course is very popular with children, as is the playground equipment. Another attraction is the "Kotatsu" painting by left-handed artisans such as cranes and pines. It was built in 1956 by Sato-san's grandfather. Originally a farmhouse, it was used for storing agricultural equipment and rice, but it was renovated in 2000 and reborn as an exhibition hall. When flowers bloom, the storehouse is also open, and visitors are free to visit it even if they are not staying at a hotel. I'm surprised that "anything is" is literally anything. From travel souvenirs and folk artifacts to novelties from major manufacturers, irons and phones from time to time, and cameras. In addition, it almost completely fills the two-story building, including the noh face, replica guns, manual whistles, and excavations from the Jomon and Ancient Tomb Periods, which are also listed in town history.
