Large Double ensuite on Beautiful Belhaven Beach

Relax & unwind in our comfortable, cosy large double room with views over beautiful Belhaven bay. There an array of water sports on the doorstep including surfing & SUP plus lots of walks all set within John Muir Country park. The space is perfect for somewhere to get away for a few days. You'll be sharing the house with me, my daughter and our wee border terrier Maisie (who's very friendly & will want to come say hello). Sadly we can't take children as we have no other bed for them The space You have your own private space (with a lockable outer door) including a large bedroom/lounge and en-suite shower room within our family home. You will have a TV, easy chairs, desk, dressing table, kettle & tea/coffee provided. Towels and toiletries provided plus ample storage. Private parking and entrance through the family kitchen and upstairs to your own area. While the kitchen is for access only there are many wonderful places to eat nearby. For this reason the room is unsuitable for long term stays. Dunbar High Street is just a 15 minute walk away or a quick hop in a taxi. Lots of history, a wonderful working harbour and nice places to eat. There is a lovely small local pub just a few minutes walk away serving local beer and food from Wednesday-Sunday. Dunbar is on the Main East Coast train line, and regular trains get you into central Edinburgh in 20 minutes. There are local buses as well. You can hire a bike locally and there are lots of other local attractions within a few miles - East Links Family Park, Foxlake (wakeboarding, ropes course etc); Winterfield golf course (just up the road) and Dunbar golf course (qualifier course for The Open) the other side of the town; and lots of beautiful walks around the John Muir Country Park or up in the Lammermuir Hills Guest access Access is via our side door - through our kitchen. No access to the rest of the house. During your stay I am happy to socialise or give you space, whichever you'd prefer. I have lots of local information and suggestions I can give.
