Tree-house inside a coffee and pepper estate with an amazing view of mountains, forests and estates. The cottage is located on a cliff and looks down to mountain valley covered in green. The space Situated at Meppadi, Wayanad District, Kerala, india. Nestled inside 30 acres of coffee plantations amidst wayanad's misty hills and lush forests, our hilltop setting offers spectacular views of dense forest, wildlife, birds and the distant Western Ghats. The treehouse has a rustic colonial ambiance incorporated with traditional features. The room is clean, spacious and airy with a view of breathtaking valley beneath. While your stay here, one may experience the delight of watching fireflies dance in the dark and clouds trapped in the valley or explore the plantation, where one may wander among patches of organic vegetables, pepper vines, betel nut, cardamon, fruit trees on which you may spot quite a few endemic species of birds. You may even bump into our cattle lazily grazing along as you walk or enjoy unending relaxation by natural reservoirs. A more demanding walk to the kanthanpara Waterfalls is equally rewarding. There are many places in Wayanad that can provide you a break from the maddening crowds and make you feel a oneness with the infinities of nature – its woods and animals. While in Wayanad one may always encounter a wild elephant or deer, if not an Indian Gaur (Bison) or a tiger !! Climate The monsoon and winter seasons are the best time to visit Wayanad for its natural flora . Alternatively the summer months of March-May are better suited for outdoor activities and wildlife safaris.
