Nestled on the Campaspe River at Fosterville in Central Victoria, The Loft is a hidden treasure for short escapes, leisurely holidays, retreats and celebrations. With farm and billabong views, our self-contained loft on this working farm has two bedrooms, parents retreat and lounge (with dining), kitchenette and split system air-conditioning. Families and couples love the elevated deck and activities with tennis and bocce. Try your hand at fishing or yabbying in the river. The space The Loft is joined to a delightful 1850's country homestead set on peaceful farmland setting with river access. Our space is suited to a family, a couple, two couples, or two singles travelling together, with two bedrooms, one with a comfy queen size bed and the other is open plan with twin beds as well as a pull out sofa bed in the parent’s retreat. The kitchenette includes breakfast provisions and a range of teas and pod coffee. Other options for meals include bring your own for self-catering using the basic facilities or enjoy the nearby dining options in Axedale or Goornong. The living area has a wide-screen LCD TV and reverse cycle air conditioning. Private entrance with access by stairs to an elevated deck offering barbecue facilities and outdoor dining. Not recommended for persons who find stairs challenging. For those staying longer there is access to a washing machine in separate laundry underneath The Loft. Pleasant garden area with fire pit. This is a non-smoking house inside and out. Guest access Our property is along the Campaspe River and guests can take a short walk to the riverbank. Guests can also relax in garden or enjoy a game of tennis.
