The space Crafted from beautiful recycled timbers and filled with soft natural light, Windmill Cottage is a peaceful, secluded retreat — one of six cottages at King Parrot Cottages & Event Centre. Designed for couples, it offers warmth and a deep sense of connection with the surrounding forest. The upper level features a well-equipped kitchen (note: no oven) and a cosy living area that opens onto a private deck through double doors. It’s the perfect place to sip morning coffee, listen to birdsong, or settle in with a glass of wine as the sun dips behind the trees. The middle level holds the bathroom, while the lower level offers a spacious bedroom with a luxurious king bed and a calming, earthy atmosphere. Outside, enjoy a private dining area with a Baby WeberQ — ideal for relaxed alfresco meals under the gums. Guests also have access to King Parrot’s shared facilities, including a saltwater swimming pool, games room, small gym and bookable infrared sauna. Private bushwalking tracks lead to a creek and waterfall, and our friendly farm animals are always a delight for visitors. A snake kit is available at reception.
