For a taste of rustic luxury, a unique Yarra Valley experience! Our owner built, self sustainable home is set in the peaceful Yarra state forest, close to Warburton township and features great access to walking and mountain biking trails. The perfect place to getaway and relax for a few days. You may also want to try a digital detox during your stay. The space From the moment you enter the forest you will experience this special place tucked away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Come and admire our handmade, artistic designed home in the peaceful Old Warburton valley. The blank canvas of the barn has allowed us to create a truly unique environment, using both recycled and hand picked timbers. We have created this space which provides you with feelings of comfort and warmth. We are off grid to all services, therefore providing solar power, tank water and a compost waste system reducing your footprint for your time away. Guest access The second bedroom has it's own private access point from the veranda. There is not a doorway into the lounge area. The pizza oven is available for use at a set cost of $40. We do advise that it is only suitable for groups over 4 adults as it is a very large oven that requires at least 4 hours to heat up. We provide the equipment and firewood required for you to create some delicious food. Feel free to create lovely pizzas, roasts and then bake your own bread! Make use of the large undercover BBQ area with a single gas burner. Note: Wifi is limited. It is nice to have a digital detox, but if required for work we can assist you. During your stay We love to meet or guests on arrival, but then leave them to enjoy there special space. We are always contactable if our guests require anything during your stay. Other things to note Children under 12 are $20 per night. So when booking be sure not to add them to your stay. Just inform us via a message and they can be paid for during your stay. We now have the tiny house available for groups of 7+ if required (on request). This can be checked out on Airbnb as our other listing. An extra charge of $120 is required as a cleaning fee for its use.
