Description

Located 1 hour from Toulouse on a 10-hectare site, the Village des Elfes awaits you with 3 unusual private cabins with all comforts in the woods: 1 bedroom, 1 kitchen and 1 fully private bathroom, without any neighbors. Rest and picnic areas, shared natural pool (family and other cottage), sauna, barbecue, hammocks, library, garden. Calm and serenity. Rejuvenation and disconnection assured, ideal for honeymoons or a meditative retreat. The space The Village of Elves is made up of 3 unusual cabins in the woods, a bedroom, a kitchen area and a bathroom with dry toilet. It offers a space for deep healing, quiet and in tune with nature. Feel free to check out the page of our other unusual cottage "The Kerterre Experience – The Fairy Door"! Guest access The access path to the site is not yet set up, access is via a dirt and stone path and can be difficult for low cars. It is nevertheless possible to park at the top of the road, behind the shed. The site has a parking area at the bottom of the road. The site is not accessible by train or bus (bus stop 15 minutes' drive away). Umbrellas are available. Other things to note My goal is to re-enchant the world and I open the doors to a timeless space... Welcome to my universe! Schedules: Check-in time: check-in time is between 4pm and 8pm. Your accommodation is located in the woods, 200 m from the parking lot, check-ins are not done independently because we have to accompany you there. Therefore, please let us know what time you expect to arrive so that we can arrange to welcome you in the best possible way. Checkout times: checkout is at 11am at the latest to allow the vacation rental to be prepared for the next guests. Children: We remind you that for safety reasons due to the unsecured pool and the presence of horses, as well as the calm of the place that we want to preserve, the site is not open to children under 12 years old. Animals: For safety reasons vis-à-vis the tenants of the other gîte (La Porte des Fées), and for peace and quiet, and in order to avoid conflicts and untimely barking with our own animals, our canine friends are not allowed on the site. The natural pool: The natural swimming pool is allowed from 9 a.m. to midnight and shared by the occupants of the other gîte (La Porte des Fées). Being an untreated natural area, the pool can contain a light bed of mud and be inhabited by aquatic fauna. Algae can also grow there in summer depending on climatic conditions. Swimming will therefore remain at your discretion. The sauna: The sauna is available for an extra charge of €10/person for 1 hour of use from 2 people, or €15/h for a single person. Sheets and towels: Please note: This is a gîte and not a guest room, therefore sheets and towels are not provided. The bed is a 2-seater in 140 cm. Toilet paper and dish towels are provided. Insects: You enter the kingdom of elves but also the kingdom of little forest creatures. Here it is not they who invite themselves into your home, but you who invite yourself into theirs. So don't be surprised by their presence... Allowed products: As the site is labeled organic and phyto-purification, please use only organic hygiene products (shower gel, shampoo, toothpaste, sunscreen). Shower gel-shampoo is provided. Cleaning: As Le Village des Elfes is a gîte and not a bed and breakfast, it is your responsibility to clean on your departure, empty your dry toilet, and put back in order any object, dishes or furniture that has been moved. If you can't do this, you'll pay €60 upon arrival so your host can do it for you. For smokers: Smoking is strictly forbidden inside the room and enclosed spaces, but on the site, outside, at the pool, and in the open kitchen area that is private to you, you can smoke without problem. Gourmet breakfast: Possibility to order a gourmet breakfast minimum 48 hours before your arrival. €10/person to be paid upon arrival. Tea, coffee, or hot chocolate Organic bread Pastries Homemade sheep yogurt (hence 48 hours for production) Organic homemade jams Ariège honey Eggs from my organic chickens Butter Organic orange juice Access: The access road is unpaved and low vehicles may have difficulty going down it. However, you can stay parked at the top of the road, behind the shed, next to the Christ, by tightening the vehicle so that it does not hinder the passage of any agricultural machinery and does not get caught. Security deposit: Theft, damage and broken items are recurrent, you will be asked for a deposit check of €50 upon arrival. It will be returned to you upon checkout, after the condition of the premises has been checked. Thank you for your understanding. Shops: The first shops are a 15-minute drive away, in Fossat, Lézat-sur-Lèze or Les Bordes-sur-Arize. Restaurants: La Tomate du Jardin in Daumazan sur Arize (15 minutes). By reservation. The restaurant of the lake in Carla-Bayle (12 minutes). Activities nearby: The Montbrun Bocage folk market, Sunday mornings. The Rue des Arts in July and August at Carla Bayle. Carla Bayle Lake. Fountescut Fountain. The Mas d'Azil Cave. The Fairy Gate: Feel free to check out the Airbnb page of our other unusual cottage: https://www.airbnb.fr/rooms/669261352206188843?source_impression_id=p3_1725123892_P31WQSc7Y4JLptiO
