It was built in c. 1926 and it has the charm of an old chalet. It has just undergone a renovation, so you can experience a combination of new and old. The ground floor apartment reminds of the old times with its country feel and some rustic furniture. An account of the past can be found on the walls - a rare find of 1932 newspapers, and in old photographs. The apartment is self-contained, but it is an integral part of our household. The dining room opens directly to the garden with many quiet corners to enjoy a picnic or me-time. There are three small ponds, 2 acres of bush to stroll around or do a bit of workout, garden and paddock with some farm animals - chicken, a peacock, a goat and a horse that will beg you for an apple.
