Our small unit provides a welcoming place for travellers to stay. Although small our place is cozy, with a comfortable bed, wifi & Netflix, cooking facilities and utensils, with all the views of the Kaimai that one could want. A peaceful getaway - not completely shunned from society but, just enough to de-stress and relax. Feeling keen enough to brave the night? Lay on the deck and behold the wonders of the sky illuminated by thousands of twinkling stars. We aim to be a home away from home. The space Because the air bnb is located on our dairy farm guests will be surrounded by nature. The deck, attached to the front screen of the house, offers incredible views of the Kaimai ranges as well as the magnificent waterfall. Not only that but, you will always be able to spot animals. Whether it be the cows on the farm, our two friendly yet slightly yappy dogs or just the wildlife that visits the surrounding shrubbery. However, because we are a functioning dairy farm, that tranquility may occasionally be interrupted by machinery, such as tractors, farm bikes or the tanker trucks collecting the milk in the evening. (For the majority of the time it is quiet though.) Guest access It is a self contained unit with a private deck and small garden. Parking is directly beside the unit and access is up three small steps. The hosts house and garden is seperate from the unit but is located on the same property. Other things to note Please maintain respectful distances from all farm animals, specifically the horses if they’re nearby as they have a young one and can bite.
