Historic and Charming, Ship House Dunwich

Three story 16th Century Grade II listed holiday home in the heart of Dunwich conservation area. Boasting some of the best views in Suffolk. Idyllically located two minutes walk from the beach. Dunwich is an unspoilt seaside village surrounded by some of the country's finest nature reserves, The house is very well equipped with wifi & wood burning stove The space Ship House is spacious and welcoming. The top floor bedroom / sitting room is very popular, (please note that this bedroom can only be accessed via main bedroom) with incredible views of the marshes forest and coast. In Springtime the songs of Nightingales and Bitterns can be heard from the marshes. On Summer nights with the windows open guests can hear the waves on Dunwich beach. The house is styled after Kettles Yard gallery in Cambridge, with exposed timber and an uncluttered style. Guest access If you book Ship House you will be getting the entire house. Other things to note Please note as stated above, access to the top floor bedroom is via the main bedroom. Also that the rental price includes linen and towels. We accept one dog on condition that it stays downstairs at all times (£15 supplement) We only accept week bookings with arrivals and departures on Fridays. Please note that there is never any problem with noise from the pub. Our walls are thick. If required we can provide child safety gates but these are use entirely at the guests liability for any failure of these gates.
