Island escape surounded by bush and beaches

Serenity Estate is situated on Comerong Island, east of Nowra. The Estate has lagoon glimpses and views of Coolangatta Mountain. It's a short walk to Seven Mile Beach In the summer enjoy the beach, go fishing or lounge around by the pool. When the weather is cool, cosy up by the fire with a glass of wine & enjoy the peace and quiet. The island ferry is free for guests who are staying with us. The space At Serenity Estate we share with you the relaxed feeling we've cultivated here. Its the feeling of getting out of the city, of no traffic sounds & no street lights. Its the fresh air. The clear night skies & picturesque landscapes. Its having the time to unwind and forget the stresses of everyday life. The apartment has a newly renovated kitchen, with a bar fridge, dishwasher, cooktop, oven and microwave. In the laundry there is a washing machine for longer stays. The bedroom has a comfortable Queen bed which overlooks the pool area. In the spacious living area there is an Ikea sofa bed for extra guests Relax in the spacious living & dining area, smart tv with WiFi and a wide range of movies, board games and puzzles to keep you busy. Even though the apartment is joined to the main house, it is completely private with its own private entry & balcony. Wonder around the property check out what is growing in the garden, see what the 7 chooks are up to and watch Lola and Lena the alpacas feed. Being on a nature reserve, you may get lucky and spot the resident swamp wallabies, echidnas and possums, as well as an abundance of native birds. Guest access Able to enjoy pottering around the garden sitting around the pool or on the veranda watching the sun go down or an enjoyable walk to the beach There are three Alpacas that roam around the back paddock and keep the grass short The lagoon is across the road if you want to fish Borrow the two bikes supplied with helmets and take a leisurely ride around the island. Other things to note As we are on an island so you will have to bring your own food. We supply tea, coffee, breakfast cereal, eggs and condiments. The ferry operates from 6.30am to 9.50 pm with breaks for morning tea at 10.00 to 10.30 am and dinner 7.00pm to 7.30 pm. When you arrive at the ferry tell the ferryman that you are staying with Chris and Maria and you will not have to pay the toll.
