Set in the historic town of Eyemouth, 5 miles north of the border with England, The Argyle House is a mere stones throw from Eyemouth’s natural harbour & fine coastal scenery. With 2 beaches to explore, a bustling harbour complete with quaint bars, pubs & fine dining restaurants, Eyemouth really is a place of beauty. Scuba diving trips are regularly taken from the harbour and with a vast array of ship wrecks and other marine life to explore, you will not be disappointed. The space The Argyle House has recently been top to bottom refurbished to an exceptional standard throughout. With enough space to accommodate 5 guests, the house comprises 2 bedrooms, both with en-suite shower / toilet facilities, the house is suitable for families of all sizes, with 3 single beds in bedroom 2 (1st floor), a double bed in bedroom 1 (2nd floor) there is room for all to enjoy. Bedroom 1 also has a freestanding bath, walk in shower cubicle, and ample space for luggage. The entire house is exclusively yours to enjoy throughout your stay with us. Downstairs you have a kitchen / living space, with all appliances (Dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, iron, oven, hob & fridge freezer) so for those nights you fancy chilling, watching some TV & ordering a takeaway you are more than able. Also in the living room space is a table and bench seating, ready for you to enjoy a glass of wine, and maybe a bite to eat. Guest access There is no dedicated parking space for The Argyle House, however there is ample free parking in and around Eyemouth, only a short walk away. A short walk away are some great eateries, including Oblo (Italian), Mackays Of Eyemouth (fish & chips), The Contented Sole (Seafood) & The Ship (Gastro pub). Fancy that night in in front of the TV? Takeaways are available from Chu Hoi (Chinese), Indian Brasserie (Indian) or Q’Kurdi (Grill). All within 5 minutes walk of the property. Eyemouth is situated only 10 minutes from Berwick, an hour from Edinburgh and a mere 2 miles east of the main North – South A1. The Co-operative is a brief walk from the house, so you’re covered for those everyday essentials too.
