Anglers' Cottage on the River

Anglers' Cottage on River is a family friendly cottage in a million dollar location on the picturesque River Moyne managed by the Anglers' of Port Fairy. The cottage is in an enviable position directly on the Port Fairy River and Wharf Area and has magnificent views across the river to popular Battery Hill and Southern Ocean. The cottage is also within easy walking distance to stunning beaches, popular walking areas on Griffith Island and the town centre. The space The well-appointed cottage would suit couples, families or those with fishing or boating interests. The spacious interior offers an open plan living, a sunny sitting area, dining area, two double bedrooms, fully equiped kitchen, bathroom and laundry. One bedroom has a queen size bed while the second bedroom has a double bed and two single beds. The combined lounge/dining area is comfortable all year round with reverse cycle heating and cooling. There is fresh rainwater provided for drinking and cooking which is accessed from a tap in the laundry which is linked to the rainwater tank. We provide a washing line positioned in a sunny area for your convenience. Onsite parking is available for your car and boat if required. Please note there is NO wifi at the cottage. Guest access There is a self check in option. Other things to note We would be happy to share our local knowledge and expertise on fishing if you need advice. In our House Manual you will find the names and numbers of local fishermen who may be able to assist with your fishing queries or you may like to check out our website..."Port Fairy Angling Club" On the river itself we regularly hold fishing clinics and competitions and you are more than welcome to join us.
