Maitriya Family Homestays offers foreign visitors a chance to experience real Nepalese culture by living with a traditional joint family. Guests are welcomed as family members, sharing meals and daily life with people of all ages. Meals are home-cooked using organic vegetables grown on the property, offering a warm, authentic, and personal cultural experience. The space The Home is located on the North side of Kathmandu Valley only 5 Km from Tribhuvan International Airport. The house is away from all the chaos with clean and green environment. The view from the house is spectacular. We make sure everyone involved in Home-stay can have a welcoming, safe and enjoyable cultural experience. We welcome travelers from around the world! Guest access This is a your home away from home. Any space in the house is accessible for you. Other things to note 1. $25 per person per night includes 3 meals - breakfast, lunch and dinner. Everything served is organic. 2. 10% of our profits goes to charity works. 3. We also provide volunteering opportunities for anyone interested in our children's home Chhahari Organization Nepal. We have had many young volunteers from Denmark, UK, USA, Sweden, Russia, France, etc. This opportunity is open for you too. We encourage you to spend time helping at the home and their local school.
