Welcome to beautiful 17 the Crags! A stylish and comfortable two bedroom escape with private balcony and breathtaking views over the golden sands of Maenporth Beach and our local Nature Reserve. We are lucky enough to be situated directly above beach and our guests have all-inclusive access to the Estate's luxury leisure facilities including 15m indoor heated pool, sauna, jacuzzi, tennis court, pickle-ball, pool table, table tennis, 29 acres of exotic gardens and endless SW coastal path walks. The space Inside this newly updated, contemporary apartment you'll find two beautiful bedrooms, a brand new modern kitchen with open-plan living and dining area and private balcony with sea and beach views and alfresco dining table. The modern kitchen is extremely well equipped with everything you could need including a N'espresso chrome finish coffee machine (we ask you bring Nespresso pods of your choice), a chrome oven and inductor hob, a dishwasher, a washer/dryer, a large fridge-freezer and a microwave. The living room area boasts two comfy armchairs, a two seater sofa and compact dining area with two chairs and a bench seat. There is a little snug in the corner with lots of books and a smart tv that pulls out. The kitchen also has a breakfast bar with a stylish Kartell chair that looks out over the sea. A perfect spot for morning 'ocean gazing' with your coffee... The open plan living and kitchen area has its own private balcony offering uninterrupted views out over the beach, the sea and the stunning nature reserve and lake. From here, you can often see the resident peregrine falcon and heron that frequent the area. When you're not being distracted by all that, we provide free WiFi, a television (with Freeview channels, Free-sat and Netflix), board games and plenty of books to peruse and enjoy! Both bedrooms have been newly decorated with personal care and attention to detail. The master bedroom has a king sized bath bed and smart TV, large wardrobes, local artworks, bedside tables and relaxing comfy armchair by the window with sea views. The twin bedroom has two comfy full-sized single beds, bedside table and pretty courtyard views with plenty of storage. We even offer a dedicated workspace in the second twin bedroom with a laptop desk and chair for those who want to be able to work away from home. The newly installed walk-in shower room is very smart and finished with grey slate feature tiles and pretty moroccan style detailing. Guest access 17 the Crags offers self check in and exclusive private use of the entire apartment. Rental price also includes unlimited use of the Maenporth Estate leisure facilities on the doorstep including: Free all inclusive immaculately kept 15m indoor heated swimming pool, sauna and large poolside hot jacuzzi between 9am and 6pm (8am - 7pm in the high season school holidays) Tennis court with free racket and ball hire from leisure centre. Two pickle-ball courts with bat and ball hire (free but booking required) Basket ball shooting area 29 acres of exotic sub-tropical gardens Loads of woodland walks and wildlife Children’s outdoor playground and kick-a-bout activity area Indoor games room with table tennis and pool table Swimming pool lounge upstairs viewing area Communal charcoal barbecue and picnic area beside the leisure centre (please bring your own charcoal!) Lovely Maenporth beach boasts a fantastic cafe 'Life's a Beach' serving fantastic coffee, lunches and all important ice creams. Also beach accessories and outdoor seating area. The beach also has 'Falmouth Surf School' which offers travelling surf lessons, beach yoga, stand up paddle board and kayak hire and excursions. For those that don't fancy the walk up and down the hill to the estate, on-beach parking is available all day too for around £4 per day (free of charge between November and March). Maenporth is a wonderful swimming beach on accounts that the cove is well sheltered and when the tide is low you can walk out quite far and stay in your depth. Perfect for families with kids... Great snorkelling around the edges of the beach - sometimes we even spot dolphins in the bay! Bring your binoculars! Our guests have direct access to the South West Coastal path which you can pick up on either side of Maenporth beach. There are countless walks exploring the area is gorgeous what ever time of year. The walk from the back of the cafe along the coast can take in local Swanpool Beach for a quick stop at the bar or picnic tables at 'Hooked on the Rocks'. From here you can continue along the path all the way into Falmouth and much loved 'Ghylly Beach'... Maenporth has so much to offer - peace and tranquillity all just 10 minutes drive from buzzing and vibrant Falmouth, with its wealth of shopping, restaurants and culture! So much to do. All in all - our beautiful apartment is the perfect Cornwall escape for friends, couples and families alike. Other things to note Check in time is 4pm Check out time is 10am Rubbish and recycling area is in a large outhouse next door to the leisure centre. We offer a wetsuit washing area behind the swimming pool. Please request a travel cot and high chair if you require them. We do ask that you provide your own baby bedding and travel cot mattress if you require one. There is a large communal BBQ area in a pretty exotic garden to the side of the swimming pool. There is lots of table seating there for you to use - just add charcoal and food and you are away! EV charging points are available for you to use. Please see instructions in the house manual on Airbnb. Please note that each of the properties on the estate have hot water provided by an electric immersion tank. These heat up overnight and can also be boosted during the day. This means that the hot water can run out if you have showers in succession. Please reheat the tank after using the shower and be mindful of the fact that the hot water is not endless or instant. Extra showers are available at the swimming pool during opening times.
