Description

Pirates Peace is a simple, comfy 1960s duplex in central Carnarvon. Family and pet friendly with off-street parking for cars, boats, or caravans. One queen bedroom, sleep-out with bunks and a fold-out daybed, basic bathroom, and new air-con (Feb 2022). Shared shady deck and backyard parking. Walk to shops, cafés, and Town Beach. Great for road trippers, workers, or relaxed family stays. The space Built in 1964 to house NASA staff supporting the moon mission, this humble duplex has retro charm and all the essentials for a laid-back stay. The open-plan layout includes one queen bedroom and a cosy sleep-out with a single bed and a daybed that converts into a king. A magnificent Kigelia Tree (Sausage Tree) shades the spacious front deck — perfect for relaxing with a coffee or watching the sunset. Located just minutes’ walk from Woolworths, cafés, bars, Town Beach, and the playground, it’s a peaceful base in the heart of Carnarvon. Pirates Peace is OLD — but loved. It’s a bit rough around the edges (think beach shack chic), but clean, comfy, and continually improving. Guest access Guest Access Guests have full access to Pirates Peace, including the: – Main bedroom with queen bed – Sleep-out with a single bed and daybed (converts to a king) – Open-plan lounge, dining, and kitchen – Bathroom and laundry facilities – Comfortable sofa bed in the living room (for extra guests) You’ll also have use of the large shared front deck, shaded by the iconic Kigelia (Sausage) Tree — perfect for relaxing in the breeze. 🚗 Parking: You can park out front or in the shared backyard parking area, accessible via Maslen Street. Please keep gates closed and be mindful of other guests staying in the adjoining duplex, Hero’s Rest. Other things to note The backyard is overgrown and for parking ONLY. My home is OLD and rundown. If you’ve never been in an old place before, this may not be a place for you! I’m working hard to make improvements, but the bathroom is still original, has good water pressure and hot water. The yard is often neglected, but is only for your parking convenience. Registration Details STRA6701Y42087P7
