Almhaus Louise - My Skigebiet Zillertal Arena

If no one else has snow - we do! Almhaus Louise and Almhaus Oscar (each with 4 rooms, approx. 104 m² living space, 9 beds, built in 2008) are located directly in the Zillertal Arena ski resort on the Gerlosplatte/Plattenkogel at 1,700 meters altitude. In winter, absolutely snow-sure - in summer, an oasis of calm. You can ski almost to the front door, and in summer you can start hiking immediately, as there are two hiking trails in the immediate vicinity of the houses. The space We ourselves spend about 3 months a year in the house. As a result, we have placed particular emphasis on coziness and comfort. An unlimited Internet connection (incl. WiFi), is available free of charge – both wirelessly and with cable. The lower floor is equipped with floor heating, as well as the upper bathroom. The lower floor is barrier-free or wheelchair accessible. A daily bread service is available during the winter months. In winter, it is perfect for skiers, because the area is absolutely snow-safe and belongs to the Zillertal-Arena ski resort, with a total of 166 kilometers of slopes (10 km black, 114 km red, 42 km blue). The lifts are nearby and you can ski to the house. The cross-country ski trail runs 20 meters below the house. The ski resort is also very interesting for experienced skiers, as there are many off-piste areas. A snowboard park was built for snowboarders in Gerlos, and some jumps are piled up on the Gerlosplatte/Duxeralm in winter. With us, you will experience winter at your doorstep. The collection point of the local ski school is less than 500 meters from our house, and there is also a large ski rental there. In summer, you can enjoy the wonderful tranquility on the Silberleiten; let your mind wander and leave everyday life behind. The houses are located in the middle of the Hohe Tauern National Park, the largest national park in Austria (about 900 km²). Some hiking trails pass right by the house. Due to the proximity to the Krimml Waterfalls, the air has a significantly higher concentration of so-called "light" air ions. This is particularly beneficial for allergy sufferers and asthmatics. Beds are made when you arrive The tourist tax is €3.05 per day for people over 15 years and will be charged separately with bed linen. Pets allowed by arrangement. We only charge an increased rate of 60 euros for the final cleaning. In the winter season we rent from Sunday to Sunday, in the summer season from Saturday to Saturday.
