Small and cozy house in the heart of the Island. The house has two levels. The ground floor consist of the master bedroom with a bathroom annexed to it, a small living area, the main living and dinning room, the veranda where you may enjoy a nice sundowner and a nice kitchen. The first floor consist of two bedrooms and a bathroom. The place is situated in a quiet secured area, with an electric gate, a garage if you rent a car and a small garden. This is a very confortable and cozy house. Ideal for a couple or group of friends travelling together. The two first floor rooms which are for rent, are very quiet rooms, and are equipped with integrated cupboards so as to quickly unpack your suitcase and pack your clothes in the cupboards and feel like at home. The decent size kitchen has a table which may accommodate four persons for breakfast. The veranda and garden at the front of the house is perfect for late afternoon sundowners. You will have access to the entire house, except the master bedroom on the ground floor which is used by me. I shall partially be available throughout your stay, mainly in the evenings after work, but the caretaker lady will receive you upon arrival and on check out. The neighborhood is quiet and calm. There do is neighbours, and they are all very respectful. Kindly treat them the same. You will have two direct neighbors who share the same entrance to their homes, which is through the main gate. So please do not park your car in the middle of the alley If you have a car, but rather park it close to the house so as to leave room for the neighbours to access their home. The house is not too close to public transportation. So renting a car is a good option. At about 1 kilometer from the house you have the So’flo shopping centre which has an Intermart supermarket, a food court, a Chinese restaurant, a wine shop, a pharmacy, an ATM should you wish to withdraw money, and a few clothing shops. The So’flo also has its own parking. You also have the Winners supermarket at 800 meters away from the house, where you may purchase all your groceries. Winners also have its own parking lot which altogether makes it very accessible. 9 kilometers from the house approximately 10 minutes by car you have Mare aux Vacoas, the biggest natural water reservoir of the island and another 3 kilometers away you will reach the Black River Gorge National Reserve Park with an endemic forest, some rare birds like the Kestrel, Pink Pigeon and Parakeet. The place is perfect for walks, trail running or even Mountain Biking. Please do not smoke inside the house but only on the veranda. Please respect the neighborhood by not being too noisy. The neighbors are nice persons and family members. Please only park the car next to the house entrance and close to it, in a way not to prevent the neighbors from accessing their place or getting out of it.
