Bang Kapi mall also offers a recreational area with swimming pool and playgrounds. Ideal if you have children. Bang Kapi has also a big fresh market where you can buy very cheap groceries. If you want to reach or you are coming from Suvarnabhumi International Airport you have two alternatives.Taxi (about 200 Bath) and it takes about 20-40 minutes depending on traffic. Otherwise you can a take airport link to Hua Mak station than the yellow line monorail, which will take you about 5 minutes walk from the condo where the studio is situated. If you want to reach or are coming from Dom Mueang airport, best is to go with a taxi. About 30-40 minutes and about 300 Bath The newly opened monorail yellow line will connect you to MRT and Sky Train and take you easily wherever you want to go in Bangkok. You will avoid the notorious bad traffic of Bangkok. Taxis are very cheap in Bangkok and that is why Uber and other similar apps are not very popular here. Another recommended way to go downtown form here is to use the river taxy. Closest stop is just outside the Bang Kapi Mall. Again, you will avoid the notorious bad traffic of Bangkok. With the river taxi it takes about 20 to40 minutes to reach downtown and another 15 minutes changing to another river taxi to reach the old town. Alternatively there are many buses that will take you pretty much everywhere around town. Internet maps is quite accurate if you would like to use this alternative.
