Seaview Cottage Penguin - Absolute Waterfront

Seaview Cottage has a unique oceanfront setting. Sit outside or relax behind the huge glass windows enjoying the magnificent views of Bass Straight and Beaches. The Seaview Cottage is an original Penguin workers cottage being over 100 years old c1892. The Cottage is fully self contained with modern facilities This scenic location on the beach is only a small stroll from couch to water and walking distance to the quaint village Penguin village facilities include shops, bakery, cafes & parks The space The cottage is beachfront with access via stairs to Watcombe Beach. There is a sunroom facing the beach where you can capture spectacular sunrises and sunsets over Bass Strait. The large living area has comfy couches for you to relax and enjoy a good book or a spot of TV. There is also a DVD Blueray player and a video player if you want to step back in time. There are 2 bedrooms with a queen sized bed in each room. Luxury linen is provided with Egyption cotton sheets and a cosy doona in each room. Additional blankets are also available for your use. The fully equipped kitchen allows you to cook up your own Tassie feast sourced from wonderful local ingredients. The dining table seats 4 people for a sit down meal. The bathroom has a toilet, combined shower/bath and vanity. Towels, bathmat, body wash, shampoo and conditioner are provided. The laundry has a washing machine for you to used which includes 'Eco Balls' for washing so you will not need to bring any washing powder. The large backyard is ideal for relaxing or a game of backyard cricket. Guest access Guests have access to the whole cottage during their stay. Car parking is available for 3 cars (one behind the other) in the driveway. Other things to note You will not be able to bring fruit or vegetables into Tasmania due to quarantine laws, so you will need to stock up locally or dine out. There is Coles and Woolworths supermarket located in Ulverstone or 3 local IGA supermarkets on Penguin. There are also numerous cafes, restaurants and a bakery offering a range of dining experiences.
