Sitting against a backdrop of Deoadar trees on a 6000 foot high mountain, Autumnred Orchards offer a splendid 180 degree view of the Manali valley, Beas river and the snow-capped mountains. It is spread across terraced orchards housing Wood Cottage; Stone Cottage and The Orchard Glasshouse. To ensure privacy and space, we artistically created two lounges with patios for barbeque sitouts, rooms with private entrances opening to a balcony or the orchards. more in the lines of a hotel. The space A walkway leads upto the cottages- The Wood Cottage, The Pine Lounge and The Deodar Heights. The Pine Lounge is the central lobby with a dining, opening to The River View and The Mountain View Patio looking towards the valley against the back of the mountain. The Deodar Heights is the recreational deck with the Kosh library and 2 lounge areas carefully crafted open spaces for leisure. The Wood Cottage has 6 rooms and The Stone cottage 2 rooms with a cosy sitting area and a study. All the rooms are seamlessly interwoven into the orchards designed to bring in the view of the river valley and mountains, the gardens or the Apple Alcove- which serves as the entry to three bedrooms. The rooms are artfully done with a cache of books to read, tea console, solar heated water and electric blankets and heaters for the chilly winters. Guest access Autumnred lies peacefully in the orchards washed with the murmurs of the river only 10 minutes below, leading to the trek trails or to the paragliding point up in the mountain. Parking area for 2 small cars is available and bigger SUVs are parked at a paid parking at the base of the slip road of the orchards which is 500 meters from the Orchards. Car rentals can be arranged from nearby village. Motorbikes and bikes are available in Manali for rent. During your stay We have Rudarni, our Caretaker who lives onsite with the cook and staff to cater to your needs. All arrangements from breakfast at the riverside (on prior notice), to taxi you could hire to ferry you around, to bonfire at night are taken care by them. River Rafting is right below our Cottage a few metres down the main highway and paragliding happens atop our mountain! Other things to note All meals are farm-fresh or from local produce and natural spring water is purified for drinking. The staff is available from 7am to 10pm and stays at the premises. JIO dongle is available in the lounges and work perfectly for zoom meetings etc. Procurement of goods is a distance from us, meals need to be informed a day before. Driver/ Maid stay can be arranged on first serve basis as per actuals at nearby hotel.
