It's a charming house from 1875 with a peaceful garden, located on a tranquil one-way street close to the stunning Schaarbeek Town Hall, Avenue Louis Bertrand, Josaphat Park, and other delightful attractions in Schaarbeek. IThe city center of Brussels is only 3 km away. The space Our home is a charming mansion with high ceilings, dating back to 1875. We purchased the house in 2015 and have just completed a full renovation while preserving its original style. Nestled on a quiet one-way street, the stunning Schaarbeek Town Hall is just around the corner. It's an ideal location to explore Brussels, with the city center only 3 km away and direct public transport connections to the city center and museum district. Yet, you can still retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life whenever you wish. Our home is perfect for families with children. The kitchen is brand new and fully equipped with a microwave, oven, stove, dishwasher, fridge, and freezer. Additionally, the bathroom is newly renovated and very comfortable, featuring both a rain shower and a bath. For your convenience, we provide a washing machine and dryer in the cellar. Feel free to use our bicycles; we have one adult bike and two children's bikes available. Within walking distance, there are also two Villo-stations for affordable bike rentals (Villo Bikes). The beautiful Josaphat Park is just a delightful 10-minute walk away, along the picturesque Avenue Louis Bertrand lined with Art Nouveau houses. We're more than happy to offer recommendations on places to visit, including museums, restaurants, and panoramic views. Guest access You'll have access to the whole house Other things to note We have a cat named Fonzie. We would appreciate it if you could feed him and provide fresh water once a day. Fonzie can come and go from the house as he pleases. Parking is available on the street and in the broader neighborhood (green zone), with Square Colignon being the only exception. The official rate for parking is €31 per day. However, as a local resident, I can purchase day vouchers from the municipality for you at a discounted rate of €5 per day.
