Beachfront Bungalow 150 m2 in southern Mauritius for up to 6 p with private swimming pool and tropical garden directly on the beach, perfect for those seeking an authentic Mauritian experience no tourists and good typical local restaurants ; house maid 1 x /week to do the cleaning and the beds; Great walks along the beach and horse riding possible with the school behind the property. Kite possible 5 min away (or in the front with your equipment ); safe for small items available; The space The Bungalow has direct access to a deserted beach via the fenced garden. Here you can enjoy long walks on the beach with almost no people around or horse riding on the beach The Bungalow is situated in Riambel, a small and peaceful village in the south of Mauritius and surrounded by typical Mauritian villages, where you can find supermarkets, ATMs, restaurants etc. As touristic development here isn’t as advanced as in other parts of the island, it is the perfect place to explore an authentic Mauritian lifestyle. 3 bedrooms with Air Con, 3 bathrooms. The kitchen is fully equipped with a stove, oven, fridge, coffee machine, microwave and kitchen utensils. You’ll find a seating and dining area on the terrace, ideal to enjoy the calmness and views over the charming garden with its tropical fruit trees, the private swimming pool and ocean. Services A housemaid comes 1x/week to clean the house and change bed sheets and towels. 9 am to 1 pm. Extra days possible at 15 Euros. The owners live at the back, totally separated in another house and is available if you have any questions, however, they will give you all the privacy, you request. There is the possibility of “table d’hôte” for dinner at their house. Aperitif and a Mauritian-style menu, the same for the whole table, based on fish or chicken, vegetables. Price depending on the market. Drink: the customer is free to bring his own bottle. Offered by the house: water and juice. We propose massage at your Bungalow (not included). There are local restaurants around 1km away, a golf course ~15min away by car, Le Morne with several watersport activities is around 30min drive. There is an option to do horse riding on the beach, with the stables only a 10min walk away. Waterfalls are 4km away. Guest access The house and garden are fenced, with a gate to the beach; All is yours only. Other things to note -Essentials (toilet paper, soap, …) are provided for your arrival (not included for the entire stay). -💶 Tourist Tax Starting October 1st, 2025, a government tourist tax of €3 per person as from 12 years , per night will be collected in cash upon arrival. Please have the amount ready to simplify check-in.
