The Stables Farmhouse

Come and enjoy a peaceful stay on a scenic working farm that is private yet close to local services. We are 25 minutes from Parkes, 35 minutes from Forbes, 30 minutes to Canowindra and 1 hour from Orange. We have a 4 bedroom house set in a beautiful garden that also features a swimming pool. As of March 2023 we have Starlink internet offering unlimited wifi. There is also one smart tv. The space You will have sole access to our private open plan 4 bedroom house. The homestead is surrounded by a large established garden, courtyard and veranda. There is plenty of space for large groups and families or couples just looking for a unique private getaway. The pool is completely private, adjacent to the house and is another great way to relax and enjoy the peaceful surrounds. This property has plenty to offer. Guest access Guests have access to the house and gardens which immediately surround the house. Horses and sheep in nearby paddocks are not to be approached. You have approved access to the house but no other additional roads on the property. So stick to the road outlined on the map to the house you have booked. If you have other guests staying with you it is your responsibility to make them aware of the areas they have access to. Other things to note If you are using the pool please leave things set up as you find them to save damage to equipment. The pool garage area where we store our pool equipment is a private space. We do not supply towels for pool use. Rates: Our base rate is calculated on 2 persons booking as a couple and sharing 1 queen bed. Additional beds made up for extra guests in your booking will cost $35 per guest per night. If a couple requires separate beds there is a one off fee of $35 to cover the cost of preparing an extra room and bed. All guests must be included in your booking. Please let us know which beds you would like made up so we can best cater for your needs. We only prepare beds that have been booked. Please remember you are booking the whole house but only the beds specified in your booking will be prepared. A minimum 2 nights stay applies to all guests.
