Watagan View Guest House is located at the base of the Watagan Mountain Range overlooking rolling fields (1hr 40 mins from Sydney CBD). The famous Hunter Valley vineyards, top restaurants, cafes, golf courses, concert venues are on your doorstep being a 20min drive away. Wine tours (including private tours) can pick up/drop off to your door. The space You will have an acre to yourself in a country setting where you can enjoy a picnic amongst the gum trees, relax by the dam with a good book or find a spot in the orchard. Enjoy a glass of wine on the deck while watching kangaroos graze in the neighbouring paddocks or listen out for the birdlife. The guest house has a well-equipped kitchen, dishwasher, R/C air-con, spacious bathroom with spa bath and open plan lounge/dining. Two good size bedrooms one with a king bed & other with two king singles sleeping 4 people comfortably. The guesthouse is located next to the main house on the property. There is plenty to do with local attractions. Why not choose a different mode of transport and take a hot air balloon ride over the stunning Hunter Valley, smell the roses (or whatever’s in bloom) at the Hunter Valley Gardens or sample the local produce and award winning wines at the many cellar doors. Guest access Guests will have access to the guest house and an acre of the property which is located to the right of the guesthouse and the front of the property around the dam. There is plenty of room for parking a car & trailer or caravan. The hosts private residence, surrounding property including horse facilities and paddocks are private areas with no guest access. The area directly in front of the guesthouse is also private. We can put you in touch with local trail riding or farm tours if that’s what you’re looking to do.
