Home Amongst The Gum Trees

Are you looking for a place with good old fashioned hospitality, a comfortable bed with quality linen, a hot shower, and a sparkling clean space you can relax amongst trees & nature whilst visiting Daylesford. Our cosy, eclectic, homely bungalow sits on top of a large timber deck at the rear of our home that’s set in amongst the gum trees & forest with a view from every window. We provide fresh free range eggs, local honey, coffee, teas, milk & a few extra pantry staples! The space Tuck yourself away amongst the trees in privacy and comfort of our bungalow/cabin at the rear of our family home. We are offering our quaint 50 square metre self-contained open plan bungalow/cabin - affectionately known as "The Bungee". The Bungee has a modern feel with those classic Parker/Eames touches & a West German ceramic collection throughout. The renovation included full kitchen, ensuite bathroom (no bath), quality carpets and drapes, smart tv, reverse cycle air- con. Luxuriate in the cosy bed that has a view of our forest. Our house & Bungalow is surrounded by expansive decking with various areas to sit and relax overlooking the forest. Josef built the house & planted the forest more than 30 years ago, and continues to maintain the buildings and property. Our friends & family tell us how peaceful & lovely our home is and we have to admit, it’s true 🏡 Guest access You have the cabin/Bungee to yourselves Josef and I are in the main house 🏠 Other things to note We have a porta cot with cotton linen & lambs wool underlay for your baby. We have a baby bath & high chair. We only have 1 bedroom but please feel free to request a stretcher bed for a child over 2 (set up in living room) for a small fee. The space doesn’t allow to store an ironing board so please let us know preferably before arrival if you need one so we can provide it.
