Room in the centre/Old Town in Basel

This beautiful room is located on the 1st floor of our ancient house in the middle of the historic town of Basel facing a quiet alley. It comes with a bed for two, towels, a desk, a clothes rail with shelves and hangers, a mirror, free WIFI. The bathroom is adjacent and includes a modern shower, a big sink and mirror as well as an iron and hairdryer. Guests have access to a full-size kitchen on the 2nd floor and a living room area with Apple TV on the 3rd floor. The space The room is in our film themed house. The building is located in the pedestrian area between two central squares Basel, there is no traffic noise. You share bathroom and toilet with the guest in one other room on the same floor. Guest access The room is located on the 1st floor. The shower room is adjacent to the room and a separate WC is on the same floor, shared with other guests although there is only one guest room on this floor. On the 3rd floor you have access to a cosy living room. There are other rooms (for example a small cinema, meeting room, etc.), which can be booked on request. A fully equipped kitchen is on the second floor. During your stay The house accommodates some permanent tenants, guests, a film association member room on the ground floor and also the office of the Gässli Film Festival (which takes place in the end of Summer right outside the door). Depending on the season more or less people are on site. We see each other from time to time. Other things to note Since the house is located in the pedestrian zone, you can only drive to the house to drop off your luggage before 11:00 o'clock by car. Occasionallly a party takes place on the ground floor (in our clubhouse). On Tuesdays a carnival clique practices their songs with piccolos from 19-22 o'clock.
