The space Drift Beach Shack has been lovingly restored by us and maintains the iconic architecture of the modernist era. Our own personal escape, some of our favourite times are spent here during the cooler months. The beautiful simplicity of the shack drew us in from the very beginning…you might say it was love at first sight. It’s been a labour of love bringing it back to life and we hope you enjoy it as much as we do. A place to truely slow down, reflect and relax ...with the ocean roaring and the wood fired heater crackling. Comfort is key. Rug up to enjoy long beach & river walks, returning to the cosy haven that is the shack. North-facing floor to ceiling windows in the living spaces…overlooking the coastal garden and ocean beyond. Wood-fired heater Newly refurbished mid-century sofas Beautiful woollen throws, Waverley Woollen Mills Turntable & much-loved eclectic vinyl collection…classics! Very well-equipped kitchen, including Smeg oven and excellent chef’s knives. Lovely, quality bed & bath linen...very comfy beds. Eat fresh apples hand picked from the old apple tree,… laden with fruit from February to April. Small library of novels and other great reads. Board games & cards, vintage games, tennis racquets to enjoy a hit on the local court. Guest access Guests have access to all areas.
