Located on the Torrens Valley Scenic Drive, Tesses Retreat at Birdwood is the perfect place from which you can explore the Adelaide Hills and Barrossa Valley. Visit the iconic Birdwood Motor Museum, local wineries, lunch locally or just relax in the native garden setting at Tesses Retreat. This one bedroom mudbrick retreat is set on over 600 sqm block which is all yours to enjoy during your stay. Breakfast supplies are provided. Complimentary bottle of local wine for 2 or more nights. The space Tesses Retreat is a stand alone dwelling with a large living , dinning area, one bedroom and ensuite bathroom with spa bath. It has exposed high timber ceilings and mudbrick walls , the kitchen is small but has all you need including a coffee machine, pots & pans, cooking utensils, dishwasher, fridge and even a washing machine. A range of pantry items are supplied including a variety of tea's, coffee, fresh milk and cookies, olive oil, butter, jam and honey and fresh bread. Breakfast supplies are also provided with a choice of cereal or muesli or bacon & eggs . Please let me know your breakfast preferance at time of booking. The bedroom has a queen size bed with qualitiy linen supplied, in the bathroom you will find Sukin shampoo, conditioner and body wash and fluffy white towels. On cold winter nights you can warm up next to the wood heater, firewood is supplied for an evening fire ( winter stays only ) . On warm days you can relax in the spa bath in the airconditioning or find a cool spot in a shady part of the garden or on the veranda . Outside you will find an abundance of bird life in the many native bushes and trees. There are plenty of places to sit back and relax. A range of brochures is provided for you to browse through to help you plan your stay or you can check out the " things to do" cupboard which has a variety books, games, jigsaws etc. Guest access The entire property is available for your use .
