Chesterdale is in the heart of Kuitpo forest on 32 acres, surrounded by 8,900 acres of pine plantations and native forests. Perfect for walking and riding, the Heysen and Kidman trails are accessible through our back gate. Famous McLaren Vale and Adelaide Hills wineries are nearby. While the guest suite is attached to the main house, it is quite separate and totally private. A 50 minute drive from Adelaide’s CBD and a 20 minute drive from southern beaches, it is perfect for a weekend escape. The space The property itself is studded with centuries old redgum trees and a large variety of oak trees, golden elms, ash trees, magnificent hedges, roses, 2 acres of heritage fruit trees and a large kitchen garden. Inside, Chesterdale has been freshly renovated, offering a fully equipped kitchen with gas and electric ovens, microwave, coffee machine and generous breakfast provisions. Our bathroom features a Japanese style bathtub and spacious shower with fluffy towels and luxurious bathrobes. Relax in the lounge area with smart TV, satellite based WiFi & Netflix or enjoy the cosy bedroom with its reading nook. Outside you’ll find an outdoor entertainment area complete with BBQ and seating, fire pit and undercover parking.
